Job Description:
As a Net Energy Metering Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our client’s net energy metering programs. You will work closely with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with net metering regulations and optimize the benefits of renewable energy systems. Your primary duties will include:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the benefits of net energy metering for our customers.
- Educate customers on net energy metering policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with net metering regulations and guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to streamline net metering processes and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze net metering data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders on net metering-related inquiries.
- Assist in the development of training materials and resources for customers and employees.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to net metering.
- Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and events to represent the company’s interests and share knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of renewable energy systems with net metering capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in energy management, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in renewable energy, energy management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of net energy metering policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with energy management software preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
